WE RECEIVED WORD FROM CWA LOCAL 9400 THAT THE GRIEVANCE HAS NOW BEEN SETTLED. RETURN TO WORK AT YOUR NEXT SHIFT. THE GRIEVANCE STRIKE IS NOW OVER. As more information is received, this message will be updated. Or, call our hotline at 408-278-9445.

CWA ON GRIEVANCE STRIKE AS OF NOON TODAY - MAY 13th, at 12 noon

Updates on this strike IS ON OUR HOTLINE at 408-278-9445. 

The grievance arose out of CWA LOCAL 9400, and is related to a resolved grievance that AT&T is now refusing to honor. While we anticipate AT&T may try to resolve the grievance quickly, until they do - we are on strike.  You should stop work immediately and return to your yard or workplace. Picket signs are being distributed via your Stewards or Mobilization Committee members. Keep up those picket lines!

NOTE: A GRIEVANCE strike is DIFFERENT that an economic strike. Bargaining continues.  Since we are operating WITHOUT a contract, it is legal to strike over a grievance. Once AT&T comes to their senses and settles the grievance (out of CWA Local 9400), the GRIEVANCE strike will be settled. Our hotlines will then be updated. At that point, you will return to work.
