AT&T Tentative Contract Rejected With 58% NO

September 6, 2024

Dear Presidents and Members,
We wish to inform you that the tentative agreement on our collective bargaining agreement has been rejected by our membership – of the Members who voted it was rejected by 58%. The votes were counted by the Presidents and their designees. We will be notifying the company of this decision and regrouping with your duly elected bargaining committee, your local Presidents, and our union president in Washington, DC, to discuss our path forward.
While we are not on strike at this moment, please be prepared to mobilize in the event a strike is called by President Cummings.

Thank you all for your continued support. Together, we will work towards reaching a fair agreement.
In Solidarity,
Frank Arce, Vice President
CWA District 9
