Envoy Bargaining Report May

Sisters and Brothers,

Your Envoy Bargaining Committee met with the company virtually on May 1 and May 14.

The Bargaining Team has passed numerous article proposals to the company: Article 2 Scope, Article 16 Hours of Service, Article 19 Attendance at Hearings or Investigations, Article 21 Temporary Duty, Article 25 Uniforms, Article 26 Safety and Health, Article 27 Discipline and Discharge, Article 28 Representation, Article 29 Grievance Procedure and Article 32 Authorized Union Business.

Despite coming to a tentative agreement on Article 8 Seniority, we are generally disappointed at the company’s failure to make significant progress on these very reasonable proposals that your bargaining committee has worked so hard to prepare.

Your Bargaining Team continues to bargain in good faith but endures the frustration with the company striking the majority presented to them and steadfastly wanting to remain with current book. Like all of you, we need change to the current CBA.

Our next bargaining session is scheduled in Dallas on June 4-5.

Be prepared to participate in mobilization activities to make it clear that we demand

changes.

We ask that you support your bargaining committee and continue to work safely and to

rule.
