NOTICE OF NOMINATIONS

SPECIAL MEMBERSHIP MEETINGS: CWA LOCAL 9423 NOMINATIONS OF OFFICERS AND EXECUTIVE BOARD MEMBERS.

The following Special Membership Meetings are in addition to our regular scheduled membership meeting. These meetings will be for the purpose of: The nominations of Officers and Executive Board Members for the remainder of the 2023 -2026 term, as conducted by the Election Committee and Chairperson Louis Rocha. 

Salinas Area Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2024; 6pm Hampton lnn & Suites 523 Work St, Salinas; San Jose Area Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2024; 8am & 6pm CWA Local 9423 Union Hall, 2015 Naglee Ave., San Jose; San Luis Obispo Area Thursday, Sept. 1 2, 2024; 6pm Hampton lnn & Suites 1530 Calle Joaquin, San Luis Obispo; San Mateo/ Peninsula Areas Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2024; 6pm Carpenters Union Local 217 1153 Chess Dr, Ste#100, Foster City; Santa Cruz Area (Regular Membership Meeting) Wednesday, Sept. '18, 2024; 6pm London Nelson Community Center 301 Center St, Santa Cruz;

NOTICE OF NOMINATIONS: Nominations for the office of President, Secretary-Treasurer and 3 (three)at-large Executive Board Members will be taken at each membership meeting listed on the reverse side. Any member running for local office must be present or submit a letter of their intention to do so to the Local's Temporary Administrator prior to nominations. Members must be in good standing and will serve the remainder of the 2023-2026 term.

Additionally, at the Salinas area Special Membership Meeting, nominations will be taken for: District 2 Vice President & District 2 Executive Board Member Salinas Area (1 seat) 

Additionally, at the San Jose area Special Membership Meeting, nominations will be taken for: District 1 Vice President & District 1 Executive Board Member San Jose Area (3 seats) 

Additionally, at the San Luis Obispo area Membership Meeting, nominations will be taken for: District 2 Vice President & District 2 Executive Board Member San Luis Obispo Area (1 seat) 

Additionally, at the San Mateo/Peninsula areas Special Membership Meeting, nominations will be taken for: District 1 Vice President & District 1 Executive Board Member San Mateo Area (1 seat) District 1 Executive Board Member Peninsula Area (1 seat) 

Additionally, at the Santa Cruz area Membership Meeting, nominations will be taken for: District 1 Vice President & District 1 Executive Board Member Santa Cruz Area (1 seat) 

The nomination of an Officer shall also constitute the nomination of the same person as a delegate to CWA Conventions and the nomination of an Executive Board Member shall also constitute the nomination of the same person as an alternate to CWA Conventions held during the term of office for which the election is being conducted.
